Below are some results that we obtained for a client who retained us for SEO/web development services in early 2010.
When we initially spoke to the client during the sales process, they stated that they were promised #1 search engine rankings for all of their keywords-within 6 months- by another SEO/web development provider.
We would never promise rankings within a specific timeframe, nor do we believe anyone who makes such promises. Obtaining top rankings and search engine visibility for semi-competitive keywords takes time, and as you can see below, the results are worth waiting for.
The services that we have performed for this client include:
- Monthly on-page optimization- making sure their main organic landing pages were properly optimized for the keywords that we were working on,
- Monthly link building/search engine marketing- building authority to the website so that it will rank well for the keywords that were were working on.
- Web development- making recommendations for possible content topics. NOTE: we did not post a massive amount of content every month in a hope that the website will generate more traffic for different keyword variations. We believe that this brings down the overall quality of the website, as well as the quality of the visits viewing the website.
- CMS integration- once the client began to see some results, we were able to convince them to integrate a content management system (WordPress) that improved how the site was structured, as well as allowing them to post and edit their own content in-house.
Here is an overall traffic summary that compares traffic ranging from July 1st, 2011-September 13th, 2011 (the past two and a half months), and comparing that traffic to the same date ranges last year.

A few things to notice:
- Overall visits have seen a 121% increase since we started working with them in early 2010
- Pageviews have increased by 146%
- Pages per visit have increase by 11%
- Average time on site has increased by 22%
- Amount of new visits has increased by 14%
- Bounce rate has slightly decreased, but at 42%, we are still very satisfied with the quality of the visits the website has been generating.

- The number of targeted visits that the website is generating
- The overall quality of visits that the website is generating by targeting relevant keywords
- The overall authority that the website has with Google and other search engines which will allow us to eventually DOMINATE their competitors
- and, most importantly: the client’s online lead generation efforts.
